Hello friends! I am Vanessa Gardner, a woman born and raised in Western Idaho who loves cooking, crocheting, business, and most of all, Jesus! My testimony is a wild one, so be sure to read my blog post on that. I created Homesteading Honey for people like me, who want to homestead and need a place to learn different skills and talk about those experiences! This is where you’ll find my Spirit-filled blog posts, recipes, crochet patterns, clothing line, and learn more about the Sustainable Christian Homesteading lifestyle!
The first business I founded is called BusyVandCo, where I started selling my crochet pieces and supporting other artists and charities. I see myself as a busy bee when it comes to creative endeavors, always busy doing something. I also have a big fear of bees, so instead of letting that stop my love for bees and our ecosystem, I tattooed a bee on my knee and made him the logo for my business. I am all about teamwork, curating thriving communities through nature, and all things sweet. To help my audience and grow my business I launched this platform to officially host my blogs, various resources, and a Biblically modest clothing line. Hence BusyVandCo and Homesteading Honey!
There are many things I could talk about here, but I won’t. To get every piece of my story my ebooks are being released and my emails are open for a chat. This website is made to give you ways to learn new things to cook (always with dairy-free options), useful items to crochet, ways to be a better Christian homesteader, and live a life of sustainability. These are all things I am so passionate about and am learning myself. God has placed this on my heart, he has blessed me in so many ways, and this is one way I can pay it back to his children. I love you and I am so excited to meet my new friends on this journey. Welcome to Homesteading Honey!
